Your local cottage baker with a passion for tradition and innovation
I suppose my passion for baking was handed down for generations on my mother's side, with my great-grandparents opening White Way Lunch in 1929, a family run business for 56 years. My taste for alcohol came from my Daddy and his love of 'the good stuff.'
As for my cake decorating, that has been self-taught the entire way and it all stems from my desire to be the one who made my daughter's birthday cakes, which then turned into a desire to make the best baked goods I could. I craft custom cakes, breads and pastries for all of your special occasions, from holidays, to birthdays to 'just because' moments.
My specialty, of course, is the White Way bread, made just like my family has always made it. Also gaining in popularity among my returning customers are my cakes, basic cupcakes, liquor infused cupcakes, number cakes, pies, cookies and peanut butter balls.
My great-grandparents, George and Mary White, started their family restaurant, showcasing their signature White Way bread recipe.
The family business served the community for over half a century, building a legacy of quality and tradition.
"Every cake, every loaf of bread, every treat I make is crafted with the same love and attention I'd give to my own family. Whether it's a traditional recipe passed down through generations or a creative boozy innovation, my goal is always the same: to create something that brings joy and makes your special moments even more memorable."
